The Greater Watertown-North Country Chamber of Commerce is accepting applications for the 22nd annual Athena Award.
Nomination forms are available at the chamber office, 1241 Coffeen St., or at www. watertownny.com. Deadline for submission is 4 p.m. Aug. 1.
Introduced in Jefferson County in 1991, the Athena Award honors the potential of valued women community leaders, as well as those who support them. Those chosen for the annual award are recognized both for their professional accomplishments and time devoted to the community.
The recipient will be announced at a press conference the week of Aug. 6. The award dinner will be Sept. 13 at Ryan’s Lookout in Henderson Harbor.
